Newquay's public toilets (including accessible toilets) have now fully re-opened.

DISABLED TOILETS: Newquay, and Cornwall in general, does not operate a RADAR scheme. Disabled toilets are normal pay toilets like all others however currently toilets are free.

Social distancing and cleaning measures have been put in place. Hand wash units have been re-programmed to comply with current guidance.

All visitors (where applicable) must wear a face covering when entering the building to ensure maximum safety for other users and our cleaning staff.

The below toilets at each facility are open and their opening times are as follows:

  • Chester Road - Summer Opening Hours: 09:00-18:00. Winter Opening Hours: 10:00-16:00
  • Railway Station - Summer Opening Hours: 09:00-20:00. Winter Opening Hours: 10:00-16:00

Strict social distancing and cleaning measures have been implemented by the Newquay Town Council Facilities Team to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in its public conveniences. Signage has been installed to assist with queuing and handwashing, required PPE has been procured for staff, and hand wash units have been reprogrammed to comply with current guidance.

Each facility is cleaned on a regular basis and is subject to a rigid timescale. As such they will be closed when being cleaned..
